Aftermath started with two people, one heat press and a stubborn belief that small brands deserved factory-grade quality without factory-sized minimums. Five years later, that belief ships to 20+ countries.
A print room, a laptop, a waiting list
In 2020 our founders were making merch for friends’ music projects out of a rented unit in Malta. The gear was second-hand and the hours were unreasonable, but the drops kept selling out — and the messages kept coming: “Can you make this for my brand too?”
The problem was obvious. Every real manufacturer wanted 500-piece minimums, eight-week lead times and zero hand-holding. Every print-on-demand app spat out thin, boxy blanks that fell apart after three washes. There was nothing in the middle for the person with a great idea and a small budget.
So we built the middle.
What “built different” actually means
We rebuilt the process around the people we kept turning away: first-time founders, creators, clubs and collectives. Low minimums from 30 units. Heavyweight fabric that survives the wash. A studio you can design in yourself. And a human who answers your messages and tells you the truth about what will and won’t work.
“Made to last” isn’t a tagline about cotton weight — although yes, our tees are 240gsm. It’s about building relationships that outlast a single order. More than 70% of our clients come back for a second drop.

We’re operated by Aftermath Ltd., a Malta-registered company, and we’re still founder-run. We didn’t take the shortcut of drop-shipping someone else’s blanks with a logo slapped on. We cut, we print, we finish, and we quality-check every piece before it leaves the building — because our name is on the neck label right next to yours.

Low-MOQ manufacturing launches
We formalise 30-unit minimums and DTG + screen printing in-house. The first 20 brands come on board.
The Studio goes live
Our online mockup tool lets clients design pieces themselves — no design skills, no back-and-forth PDFs.
Aftermath Ltd. incorporated
We become a registered Malta company and cross 50,000 garments produced.
